RX SOCIETY DONOR APPRECIATION GALA

As the cornerstone of the Foundation’s stewardship program, the Roper Xavier Society Donor Appreciation Gala has emerged as one of the most dazzling events in Charleston. The evening celebrates the generosity of our Rx Society donors and the accomplishments they help us reach. As a show of appreciation, no tickets are sold for this event and it is open only to members of the Rx Society.

Thirteenth Annual Donor Appreciation Gala

Saturday, February 3, 2018
Charleston Place Hotel

Featuring Dr. Natalie Stavas
Inspirational Boston Marathon Hero, Humanitarian & Award-Winning Physician

On April 15, 2013 Dr. Stavas approached the finish line of her fifth Boston marathon.  Just blocks away she heard explosions, and she ran towards them. Arriving at the scene she went to work administering CPR, applying tourniquets and triaging the wounded.

Following these actions President Barack Obama, Katie Couric and Anderson Cooper honored Natalie for her role as a first responder.  Dr. Stavas is currently a physician at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  To read her full bio click here
